Nora lives a block away, and is a 5th grader at Rosa Parks. Since last year, we've been carpooling with Nora, making our commute a whole lot better, and we've been delighted to get to know Nora. Everyone knows Tesla comes to school with Nora; she's like a big sister at school for Tesla.
Anyway, every once in a while, on the days we pick up the girls, Nora stays for a bit at our house vs. us dropping her off at home. The other day, Nora and I started playing with Aila...or, er, we went to town putting stuff in Aila's hair. Aila enjoyed the attention, and it just cracked us up.
The fun of having girls.
I often look longingly at all of the fun hair accessories in the 100yen shops but I think that Max will never forgive me if I torture him with hair accessories.

Ah, but apparently, we're in for it when they hit teenage-hood. I keep hearing how it's easier with boys, while we get the full drama with the girls. Oh boy....
