Good 'ol Portland
Drove by my old college, then went to a gigantic fabric store where Raven and I bought material to make our planned twin pink-fur-playa-princess outfits. I also got some cute skunk material. Psyched to start working on the costumes!

Oh - RAVEN! How very very cool. I was showing my friend Dana Dav's campalicious pictures from last burning man (mostly to show her how great your outfits were Mie) and then I popped here and saw this. We both can't wait to see your pink playa princess outfits. Raven I told Dana that you were the source of some of the *best* accessories last year. Can't wait to see you both!

Yeah...we're psyched about our idea too. It took time, but once it started coming together...thanks to some funky leg warmers Raven found (which we ended up not buying, but it inspired us)...we are rolling! Raven, we will be soooooooooooo PINK!

I was wondering, in hindsight, do you sew your costumes by hand? Do you have to use thicker needles? I just adore your giraffe outfit and was thinking about making myself a bunny one, and I know how to sew basic stitches but I think I might have to enlist my sister, who was a theater major and has worked on the set/costume design. Leg warmers, very stylin!
