I think I'm still adjusting to a work schedule. The weekend zoomed by; I felt like I barely had time to do laundry (which is an activity I actually like although I'm too embarrassed to call it a hobby). And tonight I'm pretty exhausted. Dav just left to see some music at Bruno's with friends. I didn't feel up to it and knew I'd be looking for a comfy booth to rest in rather than dance around. So I opted to stay home. And then I realized this may be one of the first times we aren't going out together because one of us decided to stay home. We're certainly not glued by the hip, but we like similar things and I like being together. When we had our long distance relationship, during our international visits to one another, I wouldn't let a fever or heavy jet-lag take even a minute of our time. But now we live together. And this moment, where I'm here at home and he's out and about, is natural. I sure look forward to him coming home though : )

Wakame (the female cat) is talking a lot more then she used to. And she's increasing her vocabulary or repertoire of songs. I can hear her meowing down the hallway as she makes her way from the living room to the bedroom
which takes quite some time since she walks soooooooo slowly, checking out every dust particle she finds (I swear, I think she hallucinates cuz she'll act as if she sees ghosts...even dust must dance around according to her). Some of her meows end like a question...which makes me automatically meow back at her. Some of her meows are like gentle howls and some are short meows that I translate as a 'yes.' Anyhow, I would like to record all of her quirky styles someday and load it for you to hear (and for me to have as a keepsake).

I haven't provided you the link I promised for that cool dorkbot event Dav and I went to during which I scribbled notes with my digital pen. Here is the link.

Definitely check out Graffiti Archaeology, although all is pretty neat stuff!

Hi sis,
I TOTALLY understand the adjusting back to full time issue-even when you love it; it's hard! I hope you find some ways to make your commute enjoyable and relaxing-if you would listen to them I would share some books on tape with you...
