: )
Sorry to have kept you hanging. It's the third morning of work. I guess I really needed to let it sink in, eh? So, I'm working at Six Apart, the amazing company that brings us Movable Type! Funny thing is, I had actually met Ben and Mena Trott, the creators, back in Tokyo when I first started Tokyo Tidbits. It's cool that I can link back to that moment when I wrote, "Totally new world for me..."
Little did I know how many great people I'd meet through blogging, how I'd begin documenting my what I'm doing for the first time (it's sure handy when memory gets foggy), how I'd discover that I rather like putting a window to my life online, how I found a nice home for a lost kitten now named Tutu, how I blurted my feelings for Dav to the whole wide world by mistake, and most importantly, experienced firsthand how cool the internet and emerging technology is. I want to continue learning and I found a great place to do that in.
So I'm off to work - ittekimasu!

Cool!
When you "blurted your feelings" to Dav was one of the cutest things I've ever seen on the internet. Cheers to you for not deleting it :-) And good luck with your new job!

Mie omedetou! What a crazy experience for you, things have really gone full circle, haven't they? Who would have guessed posting about Wakame would end up here? Thanks for letting us be a part of it ;). Eager to see how it goes for ya.
Cheers,
Ian

Congratulations Mie! You're a blog superstar and the Trotts are lucky to have you. You will keep things human and keep things stylin at Moveable Type HQ... and I just know you'll wean them off Starbuck's too.
Seriously though, congrats, I can't think of a better match and I can't wait to hear details about what you're workin' on now and what's to come!

Hi everyone! Thanks for the support. And thanks to those who watched me bumble around at the beginning to getting into it in Tokyo to getting my butt over here in SF. Quite a trip and I'll sure continue documenting all this.
This is all particulary cool since I wasn't sure if my blogging vibe would continue after moving to SF. Tokyo is just the coolest place to blog about so I didn't think I'd find my voice here. But here we are, aren't we?
