I used to work with Esther before I moved to Tokyo. As far as I remember, she always said she could never be bothered with babies. Well, she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy 5 weeks ago named Kai, and she's loving momhood! (I posted pics from her baby shower a while ago). Man, I am surrounded by little ones lately.

it's nice to be around a lot of babies - it makes you remember there's so much to learn; we should all look at the world as if for the first time.
but...dont forget your cat posting!!! maybe you could even show their stairway to heaven from home depot!

Yes, last spring must have been...hm...inspiring ;) Many babies around here, too - and all so suddenly. Or is it just our age?

going for a walk Being unemployed gives you lots of free time. I have several projects I am working on, but I still have time. So, this bright sunny morning, I am going for a walk from Potrero Hill to the pier to see the bay. Too bad I don't have GPS so you can track my wandering...Especially since I'll prbably get lost and it would be rather funny for you to watch me try and get home.
