Going to see the rerun of Matrix Reloaded. I loved the first but somehow missed the second and really want to see it on the screen. But Dav is away and it's a hard sell to my none busy friends so I'm going solo. Funny that the last time I saw a movie on my own was to see the first Matrix a second time. Since Dav has the car, I am taking the bus which is super late...I miss Tokyo's public transportation...

So I saw it. Um, I liked the crazy hwy scenes. I usually don't like crashing cars, but this was pretty cool...in the same way I usually detest violent gun scenes but I loved the one in the first Matrix movie. Other than that, did anyone else feel the second one scooted a bit too much to the overly dramatic side? Like Neo flying all Superman-like...and all that lovey dovey-ness? I love love stories, don't get me wrong. But I just didn't really want all that in this movie. I wanted more cool scenes...Overall, I guess I was a bit disappointed, but I'll wait for the third before making any final judgements...

I had mixed feelings on Matrix 2 myself. but overall I enjoyed it enough. Definitely looking forward to the third one.

p.s. I'm jealous you're going to Goa Gil without me. but I'm having a good time at Foo Camp so far, see you Sunday at Decompression!

You know the scene where Neo is shown naked from behind and there are those black spots (holes) from the plugs... I bet some people went and got tatooed like that..

The dvd is out here since y'day, and we had a reloaded session yesternight - I'm happy we saw it so shortly before Nov 5.
