Since I have T with me and more luggage than I can handle on the train to Narita, I sent 2 suitcases via delivery to Narita today. They will be waiting for check-in. So starts the journey back to S.F.
I can't believe how fast 3 weeks went by, but we accomplished a lot. I'll have some awesome unexpected updates I will share when things settle.
Anyhow, we're heading back. Tesla had a great time here, but is also ready to be home with daddy and her room with her toys. Kindergarten was a fundamental experience for her, but it also took a lot out of her. Huge naps, and I think it is solidly time for her to get back to her regular environment.
I feel it took me a good week to get into the rhythm here, and it surprised me. It shouldn't have since it's been pretty much a year since I was back, and thus I was so used to my American lifestyle, behavior, and thinking. I did sink back in, appreciating what I forget to miss when in S.F., but I am also happy to get back to my current home.
I spent some time scanning a ton of family pics. I'll leave you with 2 of my grandparents. It's been good to be back, good to be with family, and good to feel myself back within the Japanese context. And just as that happens, we zoom over to S.F.
