I will miss him so much. But when we are back together, it will be fantastically special. I am very proud that he is doing this. It's hard though...Reminds me when we had to be apart when I lived in Tokyo and he lived here.

not sure how long you will be apart but im only now leaving tokyo and returning to vancouver, after spending 24 sporadic/intermittent mos. apart, to reconnect with my SO. it was difficult but we perserved thru regular chats... honestly, it felt like the only thing separating us was the coaxial cable and we were both across town... chatting certainly helped us feel the others presence...
hang tough mie, its only space.
