Make-over time

Kimi & I are spending girl day together - talking, eating & now a make-over. I've never done this before so in my "before" picture I'm a bit suspicious of it all, but in my "after" picture I'm happy and relieved I don't have layers of gunk on me. Fun!

Thanks Kimi!! I know you'll see this, so this is a note just to you: I had a great time...all the food we ate was so yummy and the conversations were very meaningful. I'm here for our next brunch...and there are other places we can try than today's amazing place too!!

No Mie, Thank You!! I had the best time and really enjoyed being in your environment and away from homelife for a day. I am still savoring the memories of all the good food we ate and will try to figure out how to make that wonderful goat cheese spread. Thanks for your friendship, you are the best!

So glad you're not walking around wearing red yuppie lipstick all the time. People like you and I just weren't meant to be Marina chicks. I'm a little dispoointed, though, that the makeup person just did her gerenic trophy wife thing on you, rather than recognizing your unique personality and doing something clever and fun to add to that in subtle, elegant ways. Isn't that what they're supposed to do?

I've always wondered if I should get a makeover sometime, but now I kind of think I'll pass...

PS -- It wasn't terrible or anything. Just not you!
