So I went to the bathroom in the Limon restaurant, and when I was using the sink, I noticed I could only see the top of my head in the facing mirror. Did a Mr. Giant place the mirror ? (...as in "Gianto Baba"...only those from Japan will get this.) I may be short, but by god, I'm not that short!
This reminded me of the first time I went to the American embassy in Tokyo. I can't remember why I was there; probably to get some paperwork done so I could live in the country that was my heart-felt home (Japan). Anyway, I remember distinctly going to the restroom there and being surprised at how big the entire set-up was. The stalls were huge, my feet dangled like a little kid as I sat on the seat, and yes, like tonight, I couldn't see my face in the mirror. I remember thinking, "my gosh, what kind of a country is the USA?" I was planning to go to college there, but the whole bathroom incident made me feel like I wouldn't fit...which was true for many years (culturally)...but that's another story.

I am *convinced* that the whole world is designed and crafted by people 6' 2" and over.
Recently I went to Pink's hot dog stand in West. LA / Bevery district and could not see over the counter to the hot dog making. My 6'2" companion thought is was incredibly funny and offered to lift me up so I could see...
Grrr....
smiles, jen who clocks in at 5' 3/4"
