Introducing Tara-chan

Please welcome Tara-chan, my new pet rabbit. He's limited to the side bar for now, so no petting unfortunately, but he will talk. He will read my posts and give me feed back and has promised to post, on Kokochi, once every 2 weeks. He speaks only Japanese for now though.

The name Tara comes from the famous old-school Japanese cartoon series, Sazae-san. I grew up with this comical family. And my cats, Wakame and Katsuo, are named after 2 characters. The youngest of the family is Tara. And I always thought that if I get another cat, he would be named Tara. Well, I don't think that's going to happen, so my new digital bunny gets to be Tara.

haha, he even sleeps on the side, how cute! There isn't an English [or French, German, Italian, Dutch or Spanish] site version, right?

But the best part was... ...when we visited, on the way back from the winery, a wildly silly gardening center that had the most extensive collection of garden figurines. We spent a good 20 minutes roaming around, taking pictures, and wondering who buys these sort of things.

Dav and Mie get their hair done Transcription by Anonymous: Dav's bio sister, Colleen, is a hairdresser and owns a very nice salon. Today we went to get our hair done [down?]. I got a trim and [some highlights], but Dave got 10 inches cut off. He looks *so* good! We wanted blue highlights for him, but they didn't come out, so he'll go back. But we both feel like new :)
