But the best part was...
...when we visited, on the way back from the winery, a wildly silly gardening center that had the most extensive collection of garden figurines. We spent a good 20 minutes roaming around, taking pictures, and wondering who buys these sort of things.

Jam packed days
Immediately after the 24 hour Project Blog, I started a very busy 3 day schedule for work. We had our Japanese partnership counterparts visit to discuss - what else, but - blogging! We set up a pretty packed schedule of meetings and lots of super yummy meals. Introducing Tara-chan
Please welcome Tara-chan, my new pet rabbit. He's limited to the side bar for now, so no petting unfortunately, but he will talk. He will read my posts and give me feed back and has promised to post, on Kokochi, once every 2 weeks. He speaks only Japanese for now though. The name Tara comes from the famous old-school Japanese cartoon series, Sazae-san. I grew up with this comical family. And my cats, Wakame and Katsuo, are named after 2 characters.
